The short version

Bottle & Bib is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

If you click a link on this site and buy something, we may receive a commission. It costs you nothing extra — you pay the same price you would have paid arriving at the retailer any other way.

Product links on this site pass through a redirect at bottleandbib.com/go/... before sending you to the retailer. That redirect adds our affiliate tag and lets us see which recommendations people find useful. It does not change the destination product or the price, and it does not follow you around the internet.

Affiliate links carry rel="sponsored nofollow" and open in a new tab. Every buy button on this site is labeled with #ad and a link back to this page, so you never have to guess whether a link earns us money.

Which retailers we earn from

Amazon, and currently only Amazon. We have no affiliate relationship with any other retailer or manufacturer in this category at present. If that changes, this page changes with it before any such link goes live.

Some links on this site earn us nothing at all, and we mark them as such. The IKEA Antilop in our high chair ranking is the clearest example: it is sold only by IKEA, we receive no commission on it, and it is still one of our top recommendations because it is a genuinely excellent chair. Brand-direct links to manufacturers' own stores are also non-earning, and they say so where they appear.

What commissions do not affect

Three commitments, and they are testable against what we actually publish:

  1. Commission rate is never a ranking input. It is not one of our scoring criteria, it is not a tiebreaker, and it is not consulted when we decide an order. The criteria are published in full on how we choose.
  2. We recommend the cheaper option when it is the better one. Including when we earn less, or nothing, from it.
  3. We are willing to tell you to buy nothing. Several pages on this site exist mainly to do that: do you need a bottle warmer? and bottle sterilizer vs dishwasher both talk a lot of readers out of a purchase, which is the point.

No sponsorship, no paid placement

No manufacturer pays to appear on this site, to be ranked higher, or to have a product included. We accept no paid placements, no sponsored posts and no paid inclusion in any ranking. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any brand whose products we cover.

We do not currently accept free products for review. If that ever changes, the arrangement will be disclosed on the specific page, clearly, and it will not buy a favorable ranking. Our full independence policy is on our editorial policy page.

Prices

We do not publish prices. Every price slot on this site reads "check price on Amazon" and sends you to the live listing, because a price we cannot verify at the moment you read it is worse than no price at all. Where we describe a product as budget, mid-range or premium, that is relative positioning within its category rather than a price claim.

Prices, availability and specifications at any retailer are set by that retailer and can change at any time. Always check the current listing before buying.

Not medical advice

Nothing on this site is medical advice. We review gear. Where a question is clinical — supply, reflux, weight gain, allergen introduction, a baby refusing all feeds — we say so and point you to a pediatrician or a lactation consultant instead of answering it.
